Been going to this place for years and their cocktails have remained solid throughout time. They have a great whiskey selection too. Im always torn between their standard cocktail list or the special (written on a chalkboard) and fortunately the special has never let me down. One of my faves was a spicy margarita that I wish made it to the cocktail list. Happy hour goes from 5-7pm Monday to Friday. For those looking to snack while they drink, they offer a very limited food menu. My usually strategy is to drink there before or after eating somewhere else. Wolf & Crane has the perfect vibe to start or end a night out. Did I mention the music seems like it’s catered to millennial ears?

This place is a vibe the moment you walk in. The music is popping and everyone comes to dance. They have multiple sitting options from patio, high tables, a full bar with a great selection of Japanese whiskey 🥃 and craft cocktails, mini tables with mini stools, bench sitting around the main dance floor near the DJ booth. DJ Jon Doe was spinning and it’s all groovy nostalgia hits to get everyone jamming, shaking their thang, getting low, and sing/bop to. Hip-hop, underground, r&b, pop, Latin mix, classic hits, and mash ups with edm. All the good stuff even if you wanna get low get low get low… They have a disco ball and spinning laser lights with a club feel, but still feels open enough to move through. As long as you move to the beat you’re all good. The people who come are chill, mixed crowd of mid 20’s-40’s, mingle with cool peeps from different clicks, Asians, Latinos, and everyone else all up in the mix. Trendy hip with a chill dtla vibe. Went on a Saturday night it was was poppin’ at 10pm and pretty much stayed until last call. There was still a bunch of ppl there dancing and living it up.

This place is crazy. It has a unique vibe and nifty drink combinations that i havent found in dc or vegas speakeasies. Add on the ridiculous whisky collection and this is definitely a place Id go to constantly if i lived here.

Small but just the right size. Been coming here for over 10 years and it’s still one of my favs There’s an outdoor patio in the front that you can smoke (tobacco) if you want to and still have your beer. It gets crowded but some how it’s always great vibes. Chilliest spot when they just open and super hip at night Beer always crisps and poured right & Cocktails are crafted with care and knowledge. Restroom is super large and accessible. Update: can no longer smoke out front and there is a verge in the patio section at night

Best bar in little Tokyo. Cocktails are fantastic and well balanced. Bartender is always friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.

Cute cocktail bar! Highly recommend for visitors. Not a huge amount of seating on a Friday night so come early or with a small group who doesn’t mind standing. Great vibe and decor. Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice. We loved it while we were here but because it was very crowded, we were in and out quickly.

Stopped by for a quick drink before dinner. Somewhat busy but the bartender sensed we had limited time and got to us right away. Very impressive list of Japanese whiskeys. I would have loved to have stayed a little longer. It was a very good vibe. Will be back.

The 5 stars for food represents the whiskey I had. I actually have no idea if they serve food. Not knowing Japanese whiskey well, I was hoping the bartender would have the knowledge, and boy oh boy was he awesome. After telling Francis my likes and dislikes with whiskey, he suggested two that were both awesome! Not to mention his music choice for that night (deep cuts alternative 80s 90s). Worth a stop for a beverage, regardless of your whiskey love, but especially if you do.

We came on a Thursday for Happy Hour. It’s a really cool bar, especially their happy hour prices. They have good bartenders and plenty of seating. I really enjoyed their Wolf and Crane special and whiskey sour. One of the few spots where they actually use an egg white. That sold it for me! We didn’t try any of their food, only drinks. Would come back and recommend checking out if in the Little Tokyo area.
